Biography

Formed in 2007. I.Q=00 ( pronounced : eye kew equals infinity) were a band originating out of the North of France near Calais but were believed to be English.
Not much is known about this band even though their career was brief ,lucrative and full of controversy and drama.
The Members gave little in the biographies and doubts remain about their true identities.
Brother Marcel  (b: 1989) vocals. Is believed to be a Franciscan monk and still is
Brother David (b: 1975(?) vocals and assorted instruments and electronics. Rumored to be from England but no details have ever been confirmed. Also rumored to have left the Monastery and married.  Details also unknown
Brother James (b? whereabouts unknown) voice instruments, electronics. The most enigmatic and mysterious member of the band was believed found at the Monastery where the band formed suffering amnesia, he disappeared at the height of the bands popularity amid suspicious circumstances the night M/.R Blanc was arrested for the murder of  Hugh Jenning in August 2008 at a band tour party. Brother James resurfaced miraculously in 2013 to reform the band for another lucrative but disastrous tour of North East Africa only to disappear for good. It has been rumored heavily that Bono was Brother James during U2 sabbaticals. A rumor he has strenuously denied.

Rising from obscurity in 2008, I.Q=00 stunned the world with their combination of Punk rock and Gregorian chants. This mismatch of styles taking everyone in the pop and classical charts by surprise when their first album CHIORT RIOT stormed up the charts and stayed there for 16 weeks during the Northern Summer.
Managed by themselves by supported by SHIDOT records founder Mr. Sincerity (who’s first claim to fame was discovering Plastic Bertrand in 1977)
Mr. Sincerity has been both praised (for keeping the music alive) and scorned (shameless profiteering) in recent years for his constant reissuing and repackaging of I.Q=00 tracks.
The band split in dubious circumstances at the height of their career when notorious crime figure M.R Blanc murdered (now know as evil genius) business man Hugh Jenning. James disappeared that night.
The band released the posthumous track James Requiem believing Brother James had gone forever. This of course proved inaccurate when he resurfaced in 2013.
During James’ absence an album containing unreleased and live tracks called Never mind the Cassocks was released to huge critical acclaim.
The remaining members of the band managed to remain un-contactable by all and sundry after the events of August 2008 and almost became mythical, so short and impact full their reign.
When news hit the airwaves of Brother James resurfacing and the band to reform News networks went crazy and within days I.Q=00 were the talk of the entertainment world again. So under estimated was their popularity by Mr. Sincerity that 100,000 + people attended a Shopping Mall appearance, causing untold havoc for authorities.
More shocks were forthcoming when no interviews were commissioned and the album when released titled
Saint Benedict’s Abbey’s Only Boy Band
which was in the band’s opinion their “Sergeant Peppers”. Full of moody electronica and dance music the album sold in unprecedented numbers all over the world..
The band continued confusing their fans and the world press when the announced they would tour North East Africa as a thank you tour.
The tour was once interrupted by Government takeovers and Military coups and was wound up when James disappeared again this time for good.
The band members are once again in hiding but they still remain one of the most influential and enigmatic bands ever to walk the planet.
An album remixed versions of their songs by such people as DJ Holierthanthough, Moby, U2 and a reformed Led Zeppelin was recently number one in the popular charts.
